Through our partnership with AFREhealth, ScholarRx is supporting the development, peer review, and open dissemination of high-quality Rx Bricks aligned with AFREhealth&#8217;s strategic priorities.\nTogether, we are co-developing open-access, customizable learning modules and advancing faculty development initiatives to expand accessible, context-relevant health professions education Award<br \/>\t<\/h2>\n\t<strong>This grant initiative aims to:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"2322\">\n<li data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"1919\">\nSupport African educators in developing <strong data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"1919\">open-access Rx Bricks<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1920\" data-end=\"2148\">\nAdvance priority areas in health professions education, including educational technology, leadership, research training, assessment, curriculum development, clinical teaching, AI in healthcare, and health systems strengthening\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2237\">\nStrengthen <strong data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2199\">interprofessional education (IPE)<\/strong> across AFREhealth member institutions\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2322\">\nExpand high-quality <strong data-start=\"2260\" data-end=\"2296\">open educational resources (OER)<\/strong> for use throughout Africa\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tGrant Categories\t<\/h2>\n\t<p><strong>Two award types are available:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Individual Educator Microgrants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>USD 500<\/li>\n<li>Up to five awards<\/li>\n<li>For development of one or more open-access Rx Bricks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Curriculum or Training Program Development Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>USD 2,500<\/li>\n<li>Up to 200 one-year Rx Bricks subscriptions<\/li>\n<li>One institutional award to support a coordinated curriculum or training initiative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full eligibility criteria and application instructions are available on the AFREhealth website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications have closed for 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure data-start=\"3086\" data-end=\"3141\">\nTraining and onboarding support for selected awardees\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3142\" data-end=\"3198\">\nPublication through the <strong data-start=\"3168\" data-end=\"3198\">open-access Brick Exchange<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3199\" data-end=\"3248\">\nPeer review and quality assurance collaboration\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAll funded outputs will be published as open-access Rx Bricks to support broader dissemination and reuse across health professions education in Africa.\nScholarRx partners with medical schools and health professions institutions worldwide to support curriculum innovation, faculty development, and high-quality assessment through modular, competency-aligned learning tools.\n<figure itemscope
